Buy a Dinosaur, an Interactive Dinosaur toy.

Yourself, or your child, or your Ross like friend who just loves Dinosaurs. They just can’t get enough of them. So what do you do? Simple, go buy a Dinosaur, well ok, not a real Dinosaur, but go and buy an Interactive Dinosaur toy.

These toys will keep them entertained for hours on end. These toys range from, little robot things that don’t do very much, to very advanced Artificial intelligence toys that you feel would get to run around at Area 51.

Let’s start off with D-REX Interactive Dinosaur. This fierce looking little guy looks like he’d eat you up, and swallow your bones as well. So he might come in handy guarding your room while you’re out, but the truth is, you’ll soon learn that he loves having the top of his head starched and has a cute sense of humor. D-REX is controlled by sensors within his frame. These sensors include touch, motion, and audio sensors. He can also be controlled by a five button controller, which you can use to control what he gets up to. D-REX will guard your room if you tell him to. He’ll scan the room, and if any motion is detected, he’ll give out a roar. Be warned, this is not an RC type toy, D-REX has a little life of his own!

So D-REX isn’t the one? How about a SCREATURE Interactive Dinosaur?

These guys are a bit more basic in design. He two sensors, that allow for different actions. For it to be angry, or to be ticklish. Yes, I would never have thought of a Dinosaur being ticklish, but this one is!

How about an interactive Dinosaur you can sit on? Well ok, if you’re very small and child like? Then what you need is a Playskool Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur!

After a little bit of adult help of getting your Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur up and running, it will make your child feel like they’re in a remake of the movie Jurassic Park. This toy is strong enough to handle the weight of the average small child.

Your child’s new friend will be able to laugh, be tickled, and sniff. This Dinosaur also plays four different adventure theme songs. The Triceratops also has ten different sensors that allow it to respond in different ways to your child’s actions.

Still no? Ok, been saving one of the best until last! Pleo. You must have heard of a Pleo?

Pleo was this amazing little green skinned Dinosaur robot that every kid and their parents wanted. First shown in 2006, and then in the shops for Christmas of 2007. Even though Dinosaurs had died out 65 Million years ago, Ugobe gave us the chance to have a baby Camarasaurus Dinosaur in your front room. The amazing thing about these little guys where that they would learn as they went along. They had artificial intelligence and could develop their own individual personalities.

Pleos were being snapped up like crazy the Fall of 2007. Sadly though, Ugobe had to file for bankruptcy in 2009. Rumour has it, because the Recession meteor had struck. Sadly this meant that everyone working there was stuck off. This being of course a very sad state of affairs.

Zooming forward to this year of 2010, Innvo Labs Corporations has been looking at the Pleo’s DNA and the stomping of tiny little Pleo feet can be heard once more! Innvo Labs Corporations have managed to pull Pleo from the brink, and and come up with a brand new name. Pleo Reborn, or Pleo RB as they like to call it. Innvo haven’t just dusted off old boxes, and started reshipping, they’ve come up with a new design in nearly every respect to a new Pleo RB owner.

Pleo RB now comes in two different skin colors. Pink and Blue, this being aimed as that you can have a girl Pleo RB or a Boy Pleo RB. Like most animals, Pleo RB will act the same as many male or female creatures. The Female versions will make gentle noises at each other, while Male versions will step back and guard their ground and shout at each other. Also, Male and Females will make noises and lean against each other.

Pleo RB skins will be slightly randomized, so that no two should look the same, and there is 10 different eye colorings. The skins of the Pleo RBs should last up 5 times longer than the older versions. Pleo RB will have a seed personality from factory. This means for example, they will learn at different speeds, and will be either happier or moodier than others. (Much like any real pet)

These little cuties will have even more sensors than before. For example, if you pet your little Pleo, it will lean into you. Pleo RBs now have voice recognition, so you can give it a name and it will respond to that name. Or actions, like “Come to me” once learned it will carry them out.

All these wonderful things about the Pleo RB and more, with it’s new lithium polymer battery will give you a play time of up to 150 minutes, before your little Dino needs a sleep. Without a doubt these types of toys are the future. Remember the bear from the movie A.I.? Quite simply, they don’t get much cuter than this!
